Anyone ever use the Krylon fusion paint on the mirrors on an XB*R (or similar plastic)?

I have the short little mirrors on my XB9R so I bought some used longer mirrors cheap. The used mirrors have some scratches so I want to sand them smooth again, thought I might as well paint them to match the white plastics on the rest of the cycle.

I know it won't cover the rubber parts, but the actual mirror bubble is the part I was going to paint.

I used a satin black for the Surlyn X1 chin on my Cyclone (see profile) and it seems to be holding up well. I'll probably use the same stuff on the fenders and lower belt guard too.

No chipping or flaking, which is the usual concern with painting plastics. I haven't got and idea the level of gloss you will get with the regular paint so I'm no help there... but the bond to the plastic seems good so far, about eight months in to adding the part + paint.

I think I'll give it a try. Since I need to sand the scuffs out I can always sand them again to remove the paint if it fails.

My experience with the Fusion stuff is that it's soft depending on how many coats you give it. The more coats the softer. Might get some bug dents.
