ok so today was warm, then cold, then rain then snow. use my aerostitch silk scarf tonight. i was good till i got wet. scarf is not at all bulky.keeps wind out of space between helm and jacket collar.same with some of the water from tonight.i recently bought a balaclava and it is thick and makes my head hurt and restricts my range of motion to look over my shoulder left and right. extra bonus with scarf-- great to wipe glasses and shields clean with it. silk scarf negative-- too easy to add gayness remarks while wearing it. i'll keep it, it is useful and was all of 15 dollars. |

Yup, still gay,but hey, it's 2010 right? If it's good enough for the Army... NEW ARMY UNIT ANNOUNCED Details Of Obama Openly Gay Military Released: WASHINGTON (SR) - President Barack Hussein Obama has directed the Pentagon to replace the "don't ask, don't tell" policy with one that will allow openly gay men and women to serve in the military. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, will present details of the plan to U.S. lawmakers next Tuesday. According to sources inside the Pentagon, changes to be implemented include adding choreography to marching regimens, equipping all dorms with double-wide bunks, new fitted uniforms in seasonal color palettes, the installation of hot tubs, and more. In a potentially controversial move, the Pentagon will announce the formation of a new all-gay, all male company tentatively named: The "Fighting 69th Sodomites!" Sources credit the creation of the 69th to House member Barney Frank, who has reportedly been working "very, very closely" with gay Pentagon officials. Barney says, 'that if this unit performs as planned a planned SpecOps unit is designated as Rump Rangers." } |

I use a silk balaclava. Been using them since 1979. Good in the dessert, good in the snow. |

Sorry about the laptop! At work one day someone bumped my desk and my coffee went over. I grabbed at the cup just in time to direct the flow right into the vent in the front and the screen went blank immediately. I unplugged it right away and let it dry out overnight (like that would really help) but it was fried. Had a hard time explaining that one! +1 on the balaclava-Arctic Cat |

I've got one of those neck gaiters and wear it a LOT. It works very well to keep the wind off my neck in cold weather. |

Every little bit helps when it's cold. I have a silk balaclava and glove liners I got from a outdoor retailer. Black, not pink. I feel like ninja in my riding gear with that stuff. They're nice for an extra layer and add virtually no bulk. Is Buelltroll always angry or only when people make gay jokes? |
