Took a photo but need to paste it up somehow..

The guy is a sponsor now I think! Saw his banner at the top.

Good stuff.

Looks good! Color matching too! Have to change anything else or bolt right up? Who is the sponsor, Randy Knight?

That's cool! So you're basically sacrificing lean clearance for comfort right?

On a TT it wouldn't matter.

On my ss clearance isn't a problem. If I remember I am an inch and a half higher than an s.

Bit more comfy. I did have to shave two threads off the brake bolt.

No biggie.

Are these the 2" drop pegs they say they're working on on their site?

I have had the 1 inch drops for over a year. The craftsmanship is top notch and the people are also. I have never needed the extra clearance, even with no chicken strips on front or rear. If I were on a track then maybe I could see the benefit of a straight peg.

We will update the website tomorrow to show the 2 inch drop pegs being available for the XB. Just had a customer drop off an 1125R for us to model some custom parts for his bike while he goes for a ride to Mexico for a month. We will work on engineering a 2 inch drop for the 1125 while we have it available. We have plans for designing a set of brake and shift levers that will work with the 2 inch drop without modification to the brake adjusting rod or shift lever.
Just got back from visiting BearCat Lodge in Seneca Oregon. Great Motorcyclist hangout. Her is the link. http://bearcatlodge.com/

Randy, are you going to make lower pegs for the XB12X and XT?

Yes, we hope to get to the XB12X and XT 2 inch drop pegs soon after the 1125 pegs are done. Although I own an XB, and I have an 1125R on loan in the shop, I don't have access to a 12X. We make 1 inch drop pegs for the 12X( stock drop ), but I need to see if the same gusset and support for the XB 2 inch drop peg will clear the pivot bolt for the Brake lever on the 12X. I'll have to wait until someone local shows up with a 12X, or take a guess with the XB or 1125 gusset design, apply to the 12X pivot geometry, and have someone test it. We will do our best to get to the 12X pegs as soon as we can.

If you want, I can send you a Uly footpeg mounting bracket. It bolts right onto the XB, that way you can figure out all your sizes and angles. My Uly is down right now needing repair, so I can live without it for a while : )

Make you a killer deal on the first set of pegs if I can make use of the bracket. I did not realize the Uly rider pegs had a removable mounting bracket. Thought they were one with the frame. If you have something you are willing to part with for a few weeks, I can certainly get the dimensions off of it and return it.

see this is the type of stuff I like about Bad Web seeing some one how is trying to create something for all of us and people willing to help.

You go to the 1125r board and try this they want to start a fight for no reason at all.

Boss9, PM on the way

I got both the lightning and uly brackets here, if you look, the mounting holes are the same. I ended up converting my lightning into a uly this way. The left bracket bolts right up, but the right one won't due to brake line differences

Firebolt, I think I need to get more aggressive with the banhammer and clean house. I hate how I am called a fool because I ask a question to get a better understanding about someones design.

Cool stuff Froggy ! Send it and I'll do my best to make a 2 inch drop peg for the Uly. You will have to try it with the stock set up to make sure it clears the Brake Lever pivot bolt. You get the first set for free for being willing to help with the fit and testing. Sent you an email with my address. I can't find where the Private Messages are here in Badweb, but thankfully got an email that you sent a message.
