Does ECM Spy have the ability to show the Air Fuel Ratio ? Max & Min. settings ? If it does , I am not looking in the correct page or menu , because I can't find any AFR #s . Or can I only get the AFR reading on a Dyno ? I know its not the same as the AFV #s . Thanks

Don't think so, because the bike doesn't monitor A/F. The ECM only reacts to a high or low voltage coming out of the O2 sensor, and adds or subtracts fuel depending on if the readout was above or below its target voltage setting. ECMSpy does show those target values, but there's nothing that spells out what the actual A/F ratio is.

Ummmmmm.... dang, I KNEW you were gonna ask that! I can't remember which tab it is, but there will be a small box area on the right hand side with three voltages listed vertically. Seems like the box is actually labeled something about the O2. I think it may be under the "Other Maps" tab.

I'm at work right now, or I'd pull it up and see...

Aha! That's what I'm talkin' about! FYI, you'll need to have ECMSpy set in "Advanced" mode, or "Expert" mode, or whatever they call it, to see that tab. It's in the settings.

If I have the factory race kit, what could I stand to gain by getting ecm spy and learning how to use it?

Well, with ECM Spy, a laptop, and a cable you can datalog and tune your bike to the gnat's ass, perform your own AFV & TPS resets, check and clear trouble codes, and (if you're not careful) you could brick your ECM.

Do LOTS of reading and proceed with caution.

I just got ECM spy myself. The guy who sold me the wire also gave me all of the maps (stock and race maps since2003). If I load the race map onto my stock ECU, will it be exactly the same as the race ECU that I already have? If so, Race ECU for sale! :-)
