I have decided to join those among you who chose to go the route of Mobil 1 15W/50 motor oil. I have always been a fan of the Mobil 1 product and use it for other applications as well. Tonight I was in Advance Auto Parts and they have a very good sale going for those interested. Buy ANY 5 Qts of Mobil 1 for $29.99 and get a FREE Mobil 1 filter with the purchase!!! Even Wally World only sells the Gallon for $26.99. I don't think you can beat that deal anywhere. I believe the filter cross reference for the XB is M-103. But PLEASE!!! CHECK on that for yourself. No offense to those of you who prefer the premium $ oil but for as for Syn3 at $10 Qt, (which the dealer used on my 1K check), and AMS for $15+ a quart. and |

They had a similar deal awhile back, but they couldn't tell me the proper filter. If anyone knows for sure, I would take advantage of the deal. |

I have heard royal purple is the best way to go... In the engine and tranny runs the coolest and smoothest as well as great shifting (synethic oil of course). |

The XB's use the same oil filter as some of the Scion cars! I'm thinking the Scion XB oddly enough. Mobil 1 ONLY for me, in anything! |
