americansportbike.com has the right side scoop in fiberglass or carbon fiber.I bought one and could not be happier. They take a little finesse to bolt them on but they do help it to run cooler. Not to mention the fact that it kinda helps the looks also.Nothing like a scoop on both sides.I doubt you have a heat issue though since you live in NY.(haha)Fair warning: big money on that scoop.$170.00 approx for the CF.I have no regrets, good product and good people at American Sport Bike.

Got_Jack Pegasus Customizing have developed a Micron friendly RH Scoop. They should roll of the production line soon. I've seen pictures of the prototype, and placed an order. I don't have an ETA but I hope not too long. B00stzx3 I'd love to see a pic of your fairing. Have you posted one that I could look at? |

"Get the low profile scoops from Trojan Horse." Those things look like they'd be about as effective as a steel balloon. That rear cylinder needs some serious airflow, even in moderate temperatures. |

Someone on the Big Bad Dirty board said he tried those low profile scoops and they sucked. Bad enough they were removed. |

I've had them for a while and they work fine. If you have a problem with heat with those low profile scoops then something has issues, the bike, the owner or possibly both. |

Issues, that is funny. Chris, do you like your Micro exhaust? |

So far the best looking scoop has to be the one from Eskalation, but the $216 price, before shipping from Germany is ridiculous... |

If you have a problem with heat with those low profile scoops then something has issues, the bike, the owner or possibly both I'd agree Damnut. I have friends with them and they work pretty well. i seen a right side scoop on trojan house that is molded around the headers? The one you saw on Trojan was probably the Pegasus Customizing scoop for the Euro headers. The Euro system has a catalytic converter and the headers are or look longer. The front header comes up high like the Micron. PC built a scoop with a cutout that goes over the header. The Micron is different and they are doing one for that as well. Same sort of thing. |
