I just bought a used 06 CIty X with a Drummer on it. I thought that would be the first thing I replaced, I don't like loud pipes. As soon as the bike was turned on, I was sold. It is more of a deep sound and not just noise. I think I would put a drummer on any other Buell I got. Worth the money. |

Drummer is an excellent muffler mod. Are you after sound, h/p gain or looks??? If you would like to check out a comparison of the different exhausts available for your Buell, one of our sponsors ran a really nice exhaust shootout and dyno runs on both the 12 and the 9. Data and parameter of the runs are linked off the homepage from URL below. www.americansportbike.com |

I had a '05 City-X. I put the Buell Race kit on it. The pipe, ECM, K&N and a TPS reset. I like quiet bikes, but never regretted that set up. |

i don't know about the DRUMMER, mine cost me $1200.oo .yessee the muffler cost approx $400. the reckless driving ticket cost $400. (93mph in a 65mph). $400. for the lawyers fee .(the judges don't take too kindly to anything from 90mph up in VA.) see i just installed the pipe , my dick got hard(drummer music), so i'm doing top gear "roll-ons" on the interstate past a known speed trap (dick was hard) & got popped by a robotic state trooper (nowhere to run , had to stop). only good thing was johnny law didn't take my picture at 130+. so if you get your DRUMMER try to keep your head on your shoulders. |

I have a Drummer on my 12. You can feel more power. It sounds great, albeit loud. I wear ear plugs now and It's not as loud. Also can't hear the neighbors b%^hing with the ear plugs on. Also Kevin is a stand up guy. |

A great product for the way it delivers smooth power and throttle response, but it is very loud. I had to go back to stock after my ears rang after riding, even with ear plugs in. --Sean |

For those of you who feel the Drummer is loud, I don't know what to tell ya? Mine is not overly loud, its right in the middle. Unless not wearing ear plugs during live fires as a grunt tuned down my hearing. |

I'd say stay with stock if the Drummer is too loud. It only gets louder from there. |

My Drummer seemed quiter when I first recieved it from Kevin. It now has over 50,000 miles on it, and it is definetly louder. I understand Kevin can do a repack. Maybe some of you that have the loud ones need to contact Kevin and arrange for him to freshen it up. |

My Drummer isn't that loud at all. Louder than stock for sure, but it's not obscene. |
