Found at the dealer today, a brand new (not used) 2007 XB12Ss. Dealer is offering it to me at $9871 all in. Does that sound like a good / decent deal?

"MSRP U.S. Units
Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (1) $9,995 (black) $10,495 (translucid)"
that was copied and pasted from buell.com...so no thats not reasonable at all...just get a black '09 for $100 more

I agree with Jake-blues. The dealer should be willing to work with you especially since the bike is a couple of years old. But maybe they aren't since it is still sitting there.

Yeah you could always go to another dealer and see if they're willing to get the bike for you for a reasonable price...rumour has it that some shops do that but I've yet to be so lucky. Personally for a 07 even though its brand new I still wouldn't go anywhere over 9 for it title and all...but that's just me. There is definitely some potential for dealing though because the bike obviously isn't going anywhere

I bought my 07 XB12S brand new back in March for 9k out the door. I really couldn't find a better deal than that and I looked everywhere. There was another dealership offering me the same deal, I just went with the one that was more convenient to pick the bike up.

I guaranty you can get a better deal elsewhere, sometimes you just have to be willing to drive. And I see you are in GA also, I went to Tennessee for my bike because no one here wanted to deal, even when I had the check in hand.

Jeffroj is right. If they won't deal then shop around for a better deal or just get a 09...that's what I would do anyway
