Hello guys I haven't had Stator issues on my 2009 for a couples of years now and everything seems to be good but tell me if this is a normal operation.

I had a stator put on around 6k miles ago and I hit 14.1V easily at 4500k+ RPMS If I get stuck in traffic jams for 30 minutes It can get really low like 12.4 volts but it always bounces back to 13.5 after I get back up to speed again. It wont get back to 14.1 until my battery is recharged on a tender. I can't even run my high beams with out the voltage dipping to about 12.7v. My original stator which was the "higher output 2009 model" never did this. So should I assume that Harley put a low wattage stator on my bike that would run cooler? FYI I do not use the "harness fix" recall that was installed. the bike runs great and This stator has lasted longer than any other I've had. Just curious if this is somewhat normal operation? Thanks

After the harness fix, mine seems to hang around 13.5v most of the time. Once in a while I see 14.0 and 14.1 but the days of 14.2v seem to be gone forever. I do see volts as low as 12.4 but never in the 11 range. I assume the harness fix is reducing the output of the stator accordingly and the charging is also reduced? The stator is 2 weeks old and I installed the EBR rotor just for that extra confidence on long trips. At the same time, the harness fix was also installed. It's interesting that I was told by the dealer where I bought it that they had ordered the harness and actually made me wait 2 weeks to pick up the bike while they waited to install it... Surprise.. they didn't install it at all. They've been closed down... Good riddens!

I had the same voltage issues as you, after my new stator install. There is a fuse in your harness update that can blow. I did the next best thing disconnected the harness update! No issues lol for the moment. Well I still have just over a year left on my aftermarket warranty. Lol jokes on them!

Mine hangs around 14.0-14.1v, at speed, if the fans are running. 14.4 or so when they shut off. This is with a rewound stator, CE-605SB, and EBR Rotor.
