well went up to the mountains this weekend and hit some really bad roads and now when I completely bottom the front end even by pushing a bit and grabbing a handful I get a definite slide and clunk in the right tube? What is in there that would cause that. It isn't the rotor it is definitely in the tube? There is no leak there is no noticeable change in handling? I am a wrench but know next to nothing about front tubes? |

I hear it all the time when the fork rebounds, you can re-create it most likely by pumping the front suspension with the brakes locked Note the brake disk will click too. Presume that its related to some small free movement generated in rebound |

Mine does it twice when you compress it clack when it comes all the way up clack and it is definitely NOT the brake I am stumped? All I know is every time I take it out lately more problems I think the end is nigh. |

Clunk or click? These forks are noisy, mine have clicked since about 1000 miles. |

It's the plastic spacer for the spring moving inside the fork tube, as best I could tell. changing springs and spacers fixed mine, for the most part. |

If you want to make your CR a lo-rider... Uly's sticks are way longer... After a trip to the garage - 08 1125R forks - 28-3/4" 09 XB12X forks - 32" Yardstick, ±.25" Z |

Is the rear shock longer as well is what I should have said or is it a different mounting point which is what I suspect? |
