So APH KEDA or Barker? Which one?

Street riding only. with my fiancee.
I like loud and deep.
I plan to do a K&N filter and the ebr ecm.

I am wondering about ground clearance. I'm always thinking im going to bash my exhaust on speed bumps and some of the crappy parking areas around here.

I like the idea of the RT-4 how it has outlets on both sides, i think the idiots going slow in the left lane should poo their pants as i go past.

But I also need to save money, as i said fiancee. She told me to buy a new bike after i sold my xb12s. It had a drummer and race ecm. It sounded great, but we have to pay for part of our wedding, which i found out is not cheap!

Anyways i guess i was mostly asking about ground clearance, deep muscle car with a race cam sound, and price.

I have read and re read and read again the exhaust shootout but i am very indecisive.

Barkers is cheaper and sounds good imo

A dual outlet KEDA is a good idea for slow pokes. People not paying attention on your left and right need to know where you are.

The Albert 666 (UKBEG) pipe that I have on my 1125 sounds much better than the nasty Termis system I have on my 1198 Duc. Not only are they probably the cheapest (at least, here in the UK) but the are the best fabricated pipes I've ever seen

The Barkers is the best bang for the buck and has an awesome sound. I don't have any issues running over bumps that I used to have to take at an angle on my XB.

the barker just doesn't do it for me as far as looks. The Kedas just look great! I am probably going to end up with an RT-3. Guess I have to wait until Dean decides to do another sale, then i can tell the young lady i need to buy it right then!

OR he could just decide that as a wedding present he will do something special for me! Ahahaha

Barker is out. it doesn't look as good as either the Albert666 or D_Adams pipes. O yea and I am going to get it in black, maybe bright orange!

If you haven't hit any speed bumps with the stock pipe, you'll be fine with mine.

Which is louder?? RT-4 or Barkers?? Thinking about Barkers vs RT-4 also.
What is the difference in the torque curves? Can anyone post them? thanks, Mort

The RT-4 is a little louder than the Barker, the tone or note is a little deeper sounding.

Mine look essentially like the stock map, but at the wheel. Stock was rated at 146 hp at the crank, mine hit 143.1 at the wheel, torque is almost identical to the stock map, maybe a 5 ft/lb change between 5000 rpm to 11,000 rpm. Unless I'm mistaken, it's about 3 ft/lbs less than what's in the stock hp/tq pic. Basically, it's as flat as a pancake. I can't post the printout I got, but the RT-3 calibration works fine with the RT-4, I tested both for a while on the same ecm. Not every bike will hit those numbers, my bike is a low hp one, it started out at 122 stock and EBR's started at about 128 or so I think. As of right now, mine's making 140 at the wheel. I'm still waiting on the availability of the 1190 kit, I can see it bumping up another 10-15+ hp at least.

I have Barkers but that's mostly because Dean hadn't finished the RT-4 prior to my purchase.. Love the RT's but the Barker isn't bad at all. Next time around RT 3 or 4..

+1 for Dean. I've got his pipe on my track bike and I love it.
