Hi all, Looking for some advice. my '09 CR has a prodigious oil leak. It only leaks when the engine is running. At first I thought it was leaking from the oil pressure sender? on the left side just below the drive pulley, so I tightened it up. Took it for a ride and still leaking. I do not see any oil coming from the rear head. The other likely source of the leak seems to be the output shaft seal. Anyone else experience this? Is the repair as easy as removing the belt & drive pulley? If so, can anyone tell me the procedure for removing the belt and pulley? I am not in the position to purchase a shop manual right now. I am an experienced wrench and would greatly appreciate some pointers. Thanks! |

I do not know if this is the correct name, but the "seal" of drive pulley was damaged and leaking! Its very easy to change! I found a kawasaki seal in the same measures... going well so far |

I don't think so, those numbers seem a little low for this item. Thank you for looking into it! |

back to page 6-46 - Use Lubriplate #105 assembly grease on the splines. Apply Loctite 243 (blue) to the bolt threads. Z |
