I have both the swing arm sliders and the fork sliders for my 1125R. Fitted the fork sliders in about 2 minutes and was expecting the same of the swing arm sliders but unfortunately the small spacer that fits into the rear spindle is fractionally too large and won't go in. I've emailed R&G but while I await a reply I was curious to learn of anyone else having problems?

Cheers.

Well thank god it isn't just me, I'll get the hammer out .

Hopefully R&G will release a modified spacer to cure the problem. I'll let you know what kind of reply I get.

I also have the bar end sliders but stopped fiddling when I couldn't get the spacer in the spindle!

Shoulda got the dark horse moto sliders. Never heard of anyone having any fitting issues with them.

Plus they're a sponsor here.

Keith(Dark Horse) makes some very nice sliders.
I got the Signature Series.

Not only do they look good, they work.

BTW, the damage cleaned up easily in my lathe.
Originally a satin finish, they are polished now, front and rear.

Very, for those wise enough to follow it, and research products before you hand over your cash.

Well my man it was of absolutely no help to me. I've had no issue with R&G Racing products in the past and I'm sure they will sort out the problem promptly.

I don't believe telling someone they "Shoulda got the dark horse moto sliders" to be at all constructive in this scenario.

Oh, thanks!

But you are wrong. Do yourself a favor and get the best sliders every made for a Buell. The Dark Horse Moto composite models have no equals in the market, anywhere that I've seen.

Wrong about what?

I have fork, swing arm and bar-end sliders from R&G. Let's face it, they perform a pretty basic task and the design is all but identical. Plus R&G are UK based and have been in the market longer than Dark Horse Moto.

The fitting glitch on the spacer aside I'm more than happy with the R&G product.

Understand "buy local", was just saying...
I've met Keith and he's one of very few I've "instantly liked".

My sliders are jewelry that works and I couldn't be happier with the service I got.
YMMV

Trojan Horse sells Dark Horse Moto products.

Just giving you the piss newb. Hope you get your slider issues sorted. Also hope you never need them.

I'm skeptical of the "all but identical" claim.

You have something like...

Not likely. I've seen the R&G stuff; compared to the best Dark Horse Moto products, it is not even on the same planet.
