That photo makes my brain hurt.... it's like Cthulhu built a motorcycle, and all the angles are wrong.

What was the point of the pic? The article was pretty good.

The article was good and for the most part positive towards the 1125r. Brad just likes to take shots at the 1125r, whether or not it makes any sense or not.

You are wrong I like most everything about the 1125. I love the engine, the size, the belt drive. My only complaint is the looks.

The 1125R is a functional work of art... the large cowls provide wind protection for the rider, too. Hate them all you like, they work very nicely.

At any rate, I get compliments on my 1125R almost everywhere I stop... gas stations, parking lots, stop lights. This doesn't happen on my Suzuki, so I know it's not just me... however handsome I believe myself to be.

And I live in a sport-bike deprived, cruiser-infested part of the US. It's a bike that even non-riders notice and appreciate, which I think is pretty amazing (before I rode, I never noticed motorcycles until they made a thudding sound 'twixt my tires and undercarriage, that is...).

Thats the truth and I agree. It's ugly was designed in one sitting so it's a consistent kind of ugly. Not by accident. laziness, or what was available on the shelf that day.}

I get more looks on my 1125 then ive ever had. Even when i ride my self propelled push mower naked in 5pm rush hour traffic. The 1125 is stop and gawk bike to the passerby.

+1 Agreed. I actually had a guy on a 1000RR turn around to chase me down the other day just to get a closer look at it. Came pulling up beside me at a stoplight and asked me to pull off so he could check it out. He knew a surprising amount of information about the bike also...

I had a saleman at a local KTM dealership state: "I haven't seen that model Ducati before." He based his remark on hearing me ride in and my tank bag covered the tank badges (at least that was his excuse).

I had another IL4 rider, at a gas station, come up and ask me if I had time to let him look over my 1125r (he was riding an 07' GSXR1000). He was impressed, it was his first time to see one in person. He really liked the ergos and smoothness.

I talked with a brand new 'Busa rider that was trying to make his bike into a sport touring ride. He saw my bags and bars and was almost drooling (his 'Busa was only a few hours old). He mentioned more than once that he wished he knew about the 1125r b4 he got his 'Busa!

BMC, don't listen to the magazines, you do have a hit on your hands. You have raised the eyebrows of many IL4 riders and got their attention.
