just a short wish list for my '05 XB12Scg, in case anyone is considering selling...

* bar-end mirror setup
* cheesegrater eliminator or even factory cheesegrater assembly that i can modify
* integrated (turn signal) LED tail light
* frame pucks
* amber headlamp upgrade
* black select seat
* carbon fiber chin spoiler
* carbon fiber hugger/belt guard combo
* stock right side "scoop"
* rearsets (Sato or very similar)
* factory shop manual
* Rod Neff wheel balancer

Take a look at this cheap version of bar end mirrors. I get for about $10 each @ my local pedal bike shop.

thanks for the tip... i was thinking along those lines, myself, but the bicycle parts i've seen all seem kinda cheesy.

anyone tried this idea on a v-twin? vibration an issue?

I have em' on my 9SL. They are waaay better than stock. I had to use a few washers on the throttle side with Traction grips to keep it from sticking.

Plus they are easy to replace, and make decent sliders if needed.(Yes I saw one used as a slider...it worked)

the 3rd-eye mirror tip was a great one, btw... installed two of them, then removed the right hand side. very pleased. total investment: $15
