Updated xb headlights, new Screaming Eagle 180 rear tire..Hyper-charger intake..Gel Seat..Billet4Race pegs, brake, shifter..Bar end mirrors...Just had it's 10,000 mile service. I also have added the correct pipes since this picture and a chin fairing.

KC,

Yer '98 looks very nice, at a righteous price, too.

My own black '99 would look nearly as sweet with those XB h'lites & rear brake lever, so please indulge me by answering my questions:

[1] how'd ya mount the XB headlites? Any wiring issues?

[2] where'd ya source that rear brake lever? What's a "Billet4"?

[3] what's the shifter mechanism look like?

thanx,

CURT

Curt, don't let the pipes fool you.. When I bought it it had the 98 pipes on it..I have since put the correct pipes on.

1. I had to fab a bracket for the xb lights. It wasn't very complicated, just a peace of metal bent into shape and a couple of holes drilled in it for mounting. No wiring issues just took off the stock plug and hard wired it.

2. The brake and shift levers and pegs are from a company called Billet 4 Race...I found them on e-bay and have talked to them a couple of times here on the bad-web (can't remember the screen name for sure maybe pinky)

3. the shifter looks like the brake with the extension pointing up to use the stock linkage and looks 100 times better than stock!
