What's your trade in policy? I've got a lightly used (<2,000 miles) RT-3 that I could send back. Also, would this system work with a Flexi-glass belly pan?

Never did a trade-in yet, this one won't work without some trimming on the pan. Might be a little too wide as well, I never checked. The last dual can one I build specific to a Flexi-glass pan was a one-off job that won't be repeated. Looked neat and all, but too much of a pita to do again.

I really like the look of your system but I understand the RT-4 can be very loud. Did you ever develop a quiet core for these? I just purchased my bike and found a badly done custom job underneath heat tape. I'm trying to decide between correcting what I have or getting new. Either way, I have to get quieter.

It wouldn't be any louder than what you have on it now. Performance will probably be a fair bit better. I do not have a quiet insert/core for them at this time. At idle, it's about 98 db, so I typically wear ear plugs. If that's too loud, I'd recommend going with an MT-1 (modified stocker) instead. You can usually find stock cans on ebay.

Before you buy anything, make sure the stock headers are still intact and complete. It's kinda tough to tell exactly what was done to them with the mummy wrap on it.
