Jsunstar,I have 2(3 really) S-2's,my original one is #000035 built in 3/95,and the S-2 for sale is # 1B9R----258,built 7/94.Gets kinda confusing thinking your vin# means you have an early bike because they changed the vin # series midway through because--as Erik explained to me at BRAG ride,"We never thought we were going to make/sell that many and ran out of #'s".So your # 145 does not really correlate to the build date."When was it built?" has more meaning.

Sam,
Go to American Sport Bike.com and click on the
On-Line store. Click on Carbon Fiber, Body and you'll see Fuel Tank Accents for the X1. Hope that helps you out.

Anyone have a stock rear fender they'd like to give to a good home? I have an idea for my White Lightning project. But I don't what to cut down my CF fender and then hate the look.

98 S3T muffler experiment gone horribly wrong!
Need used slip on or if worse comes to worse, someones OE collecting dust will do.*NOTE*
Do not, I repeat, do not let your brother in law weld on your exhaust can. Swiss cheese occurs.

Thanks for the info on those tank accents Belookin. They seem to be a little steep price wise. Does anyone have any leads on a product that is a little more reasonable. Even if they aren't carbon fiber just something to cover that area of the tank.

TIA
Sam

Hey Firekiller,
Look at the same link and scroll down one-you can get a fiberglass version for 50. cheaper than the carbon fiber. I've looked all over for cheaper versions and havent come up with anything yet.

daveblaster2,
I have a stock exhaust for sale on eBay right now, bidding is at $5.00.

Also if anyone is interested, stock cams, air box, and seat from my S2.

Also looking to trade a CF belt guard for the stock plain black one, for a '95 S2. I'm not into carbon fiber.

Anyone got a spare battery strap for the updated battery kit for my '96 S1?

I just had to buy a whole new kit for almost $100 (included a new battery I don't need yet) just for the strap, and then the damn thing snapped on me! I can probably fix it, but if someone has a spare they want to get rid of for cheap, let me know.

Thanks.

- Jason
