BHRalph,,, I actually sat on that bike,,,sounds ok,,right front fork leaking,,, bit of oil underneath,,,mirror jacked up ,one broken off,,,, seat screw doesnt tighten,,,,clutch cover has some scratches, kinda deep,,,shifter bent back into some sorta shape,,,rear head has a thicker gasket (or just more visible??) than the front, or so it seems,,,front brake rotor loose,,,,rear fender (over tire) has one screw hole broken, looose,,,,,,little things I know but still, they buy from Atlanta or San Diego and haul them to Colorado Springs and are actually a pawn shop,,,but also do atv's and some motorcycles and a boatload of tools,,,thats all,,,felt a little odd to me,,,

Man,
You guys are KILLING me!
I've got to lay off the Buell habit for a while or I'm going to be in BIG trouble.
S1 or S2, that is the question......

Roger,

I new that someone from this site got that bike . I look forward to seeing it at the 20th. If you get the brakes done I think it would be road worthy.

Thats a big IF, they seem to work(not the rear yet) so its kinda wierd, they work but he says they didnt at one time, so i am kinda afraid, incase they decide to fail again, have to rebuild the entire set up, just to be safe, but it should be done by the 20th
later

2000 M2 for sale, black, never ridden by a little old lady from Pasadena. Ventura rack, stock exhaust currently on the bike but have a WileyCo exhaust to go with it, aux. lights wired up to a relay & terminal block behind the flyscreen, Buell aluminum tach dash kit, speedo sensor somewhat recently changed :), c/f Buell race air filter, carb rejetted, due for the 10,000mile service with a little over 20,000 miles on the bike. Runs just fine. If I had the time and didn't have other committments I'd ride it cross-country without any hesitation nor concerns. Have the stock breadbox in a box in the garage to go with it.

Open to offers. If offers are not in the happy-range I'll take off the alarm system, the aux. lights and wiring, put the breadbox back on it, and will swap out the gas tank with the limited-production DC-BRAG flag logo on the tank with a stock tank and put it on consignment at a local shop. If that don't work or if someone is seriously interested I may sell the engine and a few of the other components off it and use the remains for spares for my S2. Bike is located just north of Milwaukee. See it at the WestBend BattleTrax this Saturday unless I take the other bike there. Yada yada yada, buying a house and need to reduce some overhead.

I also have the balance of the 7-year extended warranty on the bike. This is a transferrable/refundable warranty that isn't offered anymore. Any unused money from the warranty will be returned at the end of the plan period. I bought the bike in August 1999 so the warranty runs to around August 2006. Current cash-out value on the warranty is around $500, and is supposed to be $1000 if it runs the full term. I have had no warranty claims on the bike, but the warranty is available if you have Cecilitis and feel the bike will implode since it has over 20,000 miles on it. I have every confidence the bike is easily good for another 20,000 miles, but as always YMMV. ;)

No stoppies, no extreme wheelies, no slammies, no laydowns, one rearending that was repaired by Eastside H-D/Buell in Bellevue Washington two summers ago, bike seems fine now. This is turning into the longest for sale posting in history so I'll stop now. :)
If it doesn't sell I'll get by and won't mind much at all. I like the bike and it's a coin flip which one I ride when I ride. I also have a 1995 S2, but that one is currently winning the coin flip, unless someone makes me a rediculous offer on it instead.

Price on the M2 is below $6,000 without the warranty, actual final price will depend on negotiation and takeoffs of aftermarket items, or on parts/cash/engine offers. I'm not going to give it away, I'm not that desperate yet, and if it gets to that point then I'll e-bay the parts.

(off to e-bay to chech current going prices for engines)

CAPLOCK ==> off, thank you. <IMG SRC=">
(much easier to read, and it doesn't look like you're Earl Scheib yelling at us at 2am saying ANY CAR ANY TIME $9995, THAT'S 9995, 9995,9995,9995.

ps, bring the bike to the BattleTrax on Saturday, right in your neighborhood, put a small for sale sign on it so the dealership doesn't get upset. Maybe see you there if the weather doesn't cancel the event.

Bike is located in Scottsdale, Az.

All recall work done.
New Dunlop D-207 rubber F&R.
Race ECM installed. Otherwise, the bike is stock.
Spare set of body work included. Has very minor scratches. Previous owner dropped it in the sand at a sub-5 MPH speed.

Still under warranty until April, 2004.

This bike is up for sale because I am buying a Hayabusa. I'm asking $7,500, but I'm willing to haggle. I want that Busa soon.
