I am new to this forum but everyone here seems pretty knowledgeable. Anyways I just picked up a 2001 M2 Cyclone at a storage auction I really like the motorcycle but I saw the rear seat and faring on the xb12 firebolt that I think would look better on the m2 than the one thats on there. Is this conversion possible if anyone could let me know it would be very helpful.

When I had my M2, I put a Buell S3T fairing/headlight assembly on it. That is a bolt on conversion. Don't think the Firebolt conversion will be quite as easy.

Shame to loose that comfy seat that the M2 provides. However, to each his own.

Well I just got it so I'll have to ride it a while before I decide. I picked her up for $800 at a storage auction so I'm pretty pumped about that. She needs some work but nothing to significant. Looks like shes been laid on her side but frame, engine, tank and farings show no marks. Needs a new headlight the header is scratched up so I need to replace that. Right side foot peg is grinded so needs replaced but I think I got a sweet deal. I used to own a 1998 Honda cbr f3 but I always had an infinty for Buells. So can't wait to ride

Congratulations on your excellent purchase. Looking at the picture in your profile, it is the same color (volcano gray) as the M2 that I had. PM me if you are interested in installing an S3T fairing/headlight assembly. I took mine off my M2 before selling. I'll make you a good deal on the whole thing w/ bracket, mirrors, headlight and 2 windshields.

Aeholton,
Thats a tempting offer thank you but I think I'll stay with the stock one for now. If I change my mind you'll be the first person I'll hit up.
Thanks Again,
David

Hey AL, I have a 2001 S3T in Volcano Grey with a cracked fairing. It's only a small crack in turn signal mount but it would be nice to have a solid one to put on there while I do repairs to the original one.

Can you make me a deal I can't refuse???

BC Steve

Sure. PM me with an offer. Although, mine's not perfect. It's got a couple of small cracks on the edge of it and it's been repaired before. The paint is good. It looks great from 5+ feet. I've got a Zero gravity dark tint regular length and a clear touring windshield for it. Mirrors are great looking. You gotta take the whole lot, though. My wife saw me pulling it out and said get rid of that crap, you don't own the M2 anymore.
