Hello folks, i'm in the process of adding to my garage an X1 from a friend, the bike has been upgraded with the best parts and has a 1250cc engine, havent riden it yet and have a 100 miles ride to bring it home, so a whole new experience for me, the day i get it in the garage i'll post some pics. Hope it brings me a second grin to my face. Hope the Uly doesent feel jealous. |

There is an x1 on the reno Craigslist right now that I'd like to get my hands on. I think my Uly would enjoy sharing a room with another Buell. Or two. Lol. I think after a tuber I'd like an 1125cr. |

The X1 when i first saw it in a magazine thougt it was horrible and never in my dreams would get one, was offered an S1 when i wanted the Uly but i wanted the Uly, when i istalled the jardine and was in the spanish forum this guy told me to put a race ecm or he could turn mine in to a race for a few bucks si went to see him, got to be friends, and i said love your bike, when the day comes you decide to sell it let me know, dont like the reason he has to sell it but fue to severe anee injury he is unable to ride it any more, si before selling it to someten who wouldent apreciate it, he rather sell it to me much cheaper and know that it goes to a good home, and someone who will take care of it. |

I'll see how mine cope in Spain. how is the X1 in means of braking power and on twisties against the Uly? |

I have both a Uly and X1 and feel more comfortable in the twistys on the X1. Mine also has XB wheels and brakes so the brakes are actually better on the X1 due to the stiffer front fork. Uly is more comfortable to ride faster in other situations though. nate |

Back when my X1 had a rear shock instead of a pogo stick, it could keep up with everything in the turns. My XB12X is easy to go fast over terrible roads though. |

Goldtooth, to fit in the xb wheels i guess you needed to get a new front fork, from witch XB did you get the fork? i suppose bearings also needed to be changed on the rear, is the X1 sprocket and rear brake rotor compatible with the xb wheel? Is a conversion i'm planning for the future i have the rims, so the rest of bits it's time for search for them Thanks. |

My 08 Uly XT and my 99 X1 get along just fine in my garage. They both have their own character and ride qualities, I wouldn't get rid of either. |

My X1 got jealous of my Uly real quick. Sold the X1. I am, however, quite sure that the Uly would get along just fine with an S1. |
