Teeps, you think the conti-motion's are better than the shinko ravens 009's? Think they would last as long? I have the raven's and they have held up very well. Not the grippy-est, but have 10K+ on them now. |

Full Bore rear was put on the Ulysses when the stocker wore through at 4800 miles. I got 2400 miles out of the FB and replaced it since I was going on a longish trip. It was almost shot after 2400 miles. Solo, correctly inflated, no burnouts or off road at all, bla bla bla. I will go to the HD dealer before I get another Full Bore tire. |

The conti's will be going on early next year. So I'll have the answer to that next summer, or there abouts. I have the raven's and they have held up very well. Not the grippy-est, but have 10K+ on them now I got almost 10k miles on Shinko 009's too. So far I've only run the same kind of tire twice; Bridgestone bt20. Got right at 5k miles out of both sets, each. Amazing turn in and grippy enough for me... then again, I never felt the Shinkos slip either. |

I Tried Conti Road Attack, great grip, but squared out to fast, then Dunlop Sportmaxx Qualifer II, good nothing special, now i'm on Metzeler M3 so far so good, great grip, great cornering, and seem to last quite long, possibly close to 5k miles the rear, it all depends on what way you ride, and what load you take, i'm basically solo rider and no lugage. |

The Scorpions seem to last well, offer good road manners and can do basic "green lane" work as well. I get 8k to the wear bars and the same with Michlin 2CTs and they are a better road tire. Contis are a know good tire on the Uly as well. I have been doing the same sort riding/miles for 15 years now with many types of bike but with the Uly the rubber last 60% longer and they do not square off. Maybe its the new tech of todays rubber? Whatever it is its great on the Uly. |

I'm a heavy rider, who usually has medium to heavy luggage loads. I need a tire that holds up well to the strain. |

I've got about a thousand miles on a new set of Conti Motion Pros and have to say I've not been disappointed in their performance or handling thus far. Wet weather handling has been sure-footed and predictable. Their rounded profile makes their turn-in a little slow compared to the Scorp Syncs I took off but the front had almost 12k on it, FWIW. They've held a balance job w/o issue, have been smooth and stable up to 115mph and, despite a little flattening on the rear center, seem to be holding up well to the day-to-day mundane commuting duty. My tone may change if I'm replacing that rear again before bike week, or within 5000 miles. |
