The Goe family, and their employees, are a joy to deal with. Here is my abbreviated story: On Sunday I decided to ride my Buell Ulysses but I found the tires down a few pounds, after a long trip, so I decided to fire up the compressor and air up all of the bikes/cars. When I got to my Sportster, and rolled it back to air the rear, I found a big oil puddle under it! Dam&! I looked at the oil filter, oil drain hose and primary oil plug to see if I had screwed up. I hadn’t. It appeared as if the primary gasket was leaking and since the engine was over hauled from the flywheel up a couple of months ago at their dealership I called Kevin Goe, the GM at Goe HD/Buell. He was great and he had a trailer sent right out to get my bike. I live 40 miles away. I got a call telling me that my bike had arrived and I got a number of emails over the next two days advising me of the bike's status. They couldn’t find a problem with the primary gasket but they saw it was leaking. They scraped the metal, installed a new gasket, replaced the primary fluid and clutch gasket, test rode it, and watched it for two days. Today, Howard Goe, Kevin’s dad and the owner, the guy who founded the dealership in 1976, put it on a trailer and pulled it the 40 miles to our house and was most gracious in delivering it. It had been detailed and it GLEAMED!!! Sure it was their problem given that they had done the engine work but look how they responded! Anything, or anyone, can have a problem but it is how that problem is responded to that I am interested in. I am impressed and of course very pleased with the response from Goe HD/Buell. I can now trust that they will stand behind their work. Though I have been going to their dealership for over 15 years, and have considered them my only dealer for the past ten years, and have bought parts and accessories there, I have spread my service work around. I now plan to go solely to Goe when I need service. This isn’t the first time the Goe’s have outdone most bike shops in my experience. I recommend Goe HD/Buell, as well as their Kawasaki dealership, next door, highly. They are located 25 miles south of Houston on business 288. The Goe's were big Buell supporters before the shutdown and continue that support today. In fact, they have a senior tech who is considered a Buell expert. |

No, it is Leon. A humble but diligent master tech who builds the engines for the dealership's Vrod race bikes. He is also the go-to guy on Buells. |

That is a tremendous response even if it was their bad to begin with. Good to know there is a primo Buell shop not too far away. My brother has been a Kawasaki fanboy for years, and I have grown to like their bikes as well through his experiences. Been eyeballing those new Z1000's lately. I'll keep Goe in mind if I get serious. |

not really to down play you experience, but unless i read something wrong they were working on your hd and not your buell... there in could be some of the deal... i have heard plenty of people grip about the dealer working on their buell, but of those that also own hd's, i dont ever seem to hear about that same dealer doing a bad job working on their hd. |

Every dealer is different, no rice, but with Goe HD/Buell I can assure you that my Buell, or anyone's, would get similar treatment. Goe HD/Buell is definitely a Buell shop. |
