After suffering the torments of the damned due to my Buell P&A Low Seat crunching my race ECM I think that it might be time to upgrade. Has anyone used a Corbin seat on their Ulysses and if so, are there any issues with the pan deforming and creating havoc? Thanks Steve Ford P.S. I took the advice from one fellow here and wrapped the new ECM and connectors in a gun cleaning mat and shoved it as far down and to the left as I could. Here's hoping that turns out to be a good idea. |

Sorry I can't help with 1st hand knowledge on the Uly but it is something I'll also be upgrading to within the next 12 months. I got a Corbin on my last bike and it was one of the best investments I made on that bike. I loved it and it looked great. |

I have a Corbin low seat and have no problem with the ECM. There are two places the seat does touch: the ECM plastic stand-off and the positive battery connector. The seat is hard though. |

Like Bluex said, you have to accept a hard seat. Not hard as in sitting on stone hard, but they do use a very firm and supportive foam, well molded, VERY durable (they even wieght a lot more then the stocker), but I have found the support to be awesome over long distances. Can get some hot-spotting with the corbin if it is not cut right, and it does hold a LOT of heat, nice when its chilly, not so much when its warm out. Fit and finish is superb! My .02 Bruce |

You may need to grind a bit the front hook mine was a bit to wide leather is not as gripy as the stock low 07 seat, quality of corbin superbe, i never had it touching not battery nor ecm. If you find it a tad to hard try to find a pair of curling short that little cushion they have make a large difference. |
