If it was orange with orange bags...probably Vern. Bastard. I love the BRP. I haven't even thrown a leg over a bike in more than 2 weeks. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. |

Yes it was likely me. I rode from near Knoxville to Asheville on the slab early, then the BRP to Little Switzerland for lunch with Hugh and the guys. We did a quick 226 loop on some excellent pavement and I headed back. I rode the BRP back to Asheville where I got off to pause for a storm that was in front of me, and get a shot of premium. Then the big decision hit. I could be home in an hour and a half on the Interstate dry or.....back to the BRP to Cherokee and over New Found Gap to Gatlinburg for a five and a half hour ride potentially in the rain. Not much choice when you have a Uly. I got home just after dark and had an excellent day of riding. Only had rain for about ten miles. Met some great BadWeatherBikers and some others along the way. I did see and wave to at least three Uly riders, one two up when I got gas. The other two were on the BRP. I saw you with the HD guys. 397 miles for a lunch date. That is what makes a great Uly day! |
