Danger Dave Bueller from Down Under is quoted in American Motorcyclist talking about the X and XT Buells.

Don't get the mag - didn't see it - can't tell you was he said.

Sure, hell yeah, I'd love to know what he said, but don't get the mag.

Word is, though, he's on page 28.... yeah, the page number I got. Page 28 ... two, eight.

But I don't get the mag, soooooo, can't really tell ya what he said.

He said somethin', that I know, but don't know what it was.

Shame, really!

Guess I may never know.

Below is DD's quote from the article on the XB12XT. It is attributed to advrider.com.

"The X and XT are amoungst the most versatile motorcycles on the market. They perform the tasks they are designed for superbly, are cheap and easy to own/maintain, and they even crash well. They don't go as fast as a 'superbike' - big whoop!"

It was good to have a little accuracy in the article as well. It was a nice fluff piece, but included a couple gems like the fact that the XT has the shock back under the motor, and that it is now powered by a motor with a single overhead cam... :/

For the record I originally typed 'big %#$*in' whoop' (or similar).

Frankly I'm disappointed they didn't publish the swearing.

....and don't call me frankly.

Dave:

Presently four (4) of your fellow country men and a Kiwi are working with a NASCAR race Team in NC.

I am the designated interperter between the Aussies, the Kiwi and the Good Ol Boys.

Challenging in both languages

Heh. A bunch of guys with Australian accents, working NASCAR no less, around a bunch of American women. I bet they are having a hell of a good time.
