Went down to the local HD/Buell shop to get a set of spare plugs for my '08 Uly.
Of course, none in stock. Parts guy offered me "equivalent" plug used on V-Rods.
Noticed the '08 Uly part number for the plug is completely different than the
'07 Uly part number. Why do the simple things things have to be so complicated?
Anybody using another brand (NGK, Champion, etc) with their '08 Uly?
If so, what part number?

OK, had some time to do a little research.
Seems American Sport Bike sells NGK DPR9EA-9 and the Iridium DCPR9E1X as the HD 10R12 equivalent -the cooler 9 heat range recommended for newer Buells. With all the changes for '08 I wasn't gonna take a chance that a V-Rod 10R12 plug would be a good fit. I am amazed that the same part (Uly 07 plug and Uly 08 plug) can change part numbers from one year to the next, or am I missing something? Since the dealer did not have any in stock it was hard to do a side by side comparison.
