Find a beam and use a couple of tie down straps. Loop one end of the strap to the beam and the hook part on the other end to your passenger peg bracket. Do the same for the other side. Lift the whole back of your bike right up. |

You can take a tiedown and strap it around a beam in your garage and around your frame. Then lift. Dammit Damnut. Beat me by a nose. (Message edited by frankfast on May 01, 2007) |

I just bought a Vortex front and rear stand. They are very stable, and give plenty of clearance to do most work. |

![mm](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/275117.jpg) No need to buy TWO race stands to get the front wheel up. Just visit your local recycling center, ( ie: construction site). Reclaim some 2x 6 's . Lever the bike up using a long piece, whilst your girl friend sticks four short pieces under the front jack point on the muffler. You just need a rear stand to keep the bike steady, and for changing the rear tire. The wood can be further recycled in the off season by putting in fireplace. Waste not, want not, OK?

I just lifted it up and set it down on an old inflated spare tire for my Honda. Support bike by tie down from the rafters so it doesn't fall over. Wala take both tires off and don't pay them a billion dollars to change your tires and scuff up my sexy amber rims. |
