I really feel for the Secret Service agents. It was established/revealed during the Clinton regime that the Treasury agents can't protect their "principals" the Similarly, they can't protect Joe* from Dr. Jill, the Obama Minions & the doctor mixing up Joe's* drug cocktail. It's almost irrelevant which pundit theory you like about switching out Joe* at the last minute for a "better" candidate. My concern is we are watching people who have no problem with lying, prosecuting innocents, and murdering inconvenient people, ( seen Seth Rich lately? ) and I fear that "someone" will decide the best vote incentive would be to fake ... Something Bad. The least nasty would be to simply announce Joe* had a stroke and pull the switcheroo, since nearly everyone would either cooperate and/or believe Joe* is incapable. Otoh, Dead Men can't make embarrassing remarks and ruin The Narrative. Lots of sympathy can be faked/pumped up by the Party Media. And the guy in danger is a contained and incapable of escape from his handlers. | ||

Agreed, it wasn't a good thing the U.S. Army ships were poorly maintained, I see it as a sample of a wider intentional neglect problem. It's not entirely spending money on pronoun classes instead of the labor and fuel cost to run engines and change the oil. It's always a struggle to keep military gear running. High power to weight ratio and other factors are expensive. Consider a Humvee, with the geared drive axles, or the constant need for anti corrosion labor on ships. | ||
