There are commercial companies that archive X, formerly known as Twitter & Facebook, etc. so employers can research job applicants. It's not uncommon for people to delete posts that are uncomplimentary to their hoped for employers. ( assumed anonymity breeds extreme rudeness in some folk ) A faked post, otoh, is a problem for anyone, denying one is trying to prove a negative. If you already have a habit of back pedalling post removal to hide controversial attitudes, it's even harder to prove you didn't "say" some horrible thing. An example of a dirty trick/fake reply might be... "I completely agree with you!" ( & fake post quote ) " Donald Trump is the only way to save the country from the illegal alien invasion! "...
