What's amazing to me is that she _wants_ to be a teacher. She _wants_ to go to work every morning and see her kids and help them learn.
Even after all of the shit that has happened to her (in her first month of student teaching She was threatened with rape and held against a fence with knife to her neck (2 different girls)), she loves going to work and helping her kids.
BTW: The NAACP spent all day on her campus today. The principal and most of the administrators were sweating blood over a video posted to social media that included students calling several different ethnic groups racial slurs and at one point taunted 2 emotionally disturbed kids to the point of explosion and then made fun of them. The kids released the video as an "ART" project complete with credits.
They were proud of it and didn't understand all the outrage...
Seems a pity that the Tempe police have to address citizen concerns about policemen with an AR-15. It's as if the things were radioactive or might turn you into a pillar of salt.
The basic message is, the government can't protect you, so you should give up your rights...willingly...or you hate children and condone mass murder.
It's so incoherent and illogical that I truly don't understand how people can justify such terrible premises.
Lately we're being told that we can't criticize the child tyrants and communists...they can blatantly call you terrorist and murderer without justification...but to criticize the poor hapless children is to commit a sin of the highest order. No sympathy from me. If you want to be the mouthpiece for the most insidious, subversive agenda attacking our nation you will be held to task. The left loves to use their special supposedly protected groups to sell the agenda...completely oblivious to the fact that the whole of the people they're attacking are in fact those very people protected under our Constitution.
I seriously doubt her guards are using revolvers, which, by the way, are effectively semiautomatic. The difference being the already loaded chamber is rotated into position vs. moving a round into a single chamber. The effect is the same.
No, I think this is just another case of anti-gun idiots not knowing wtf they're talking about.
No excuse. And yet, ignorance is part and parcel of how laws get passed, especially gun laws.
And you're right, I wouldn't excuse them for telling blacks they're too stupid to make it in the world. Unfortunately, the majority of blacks haven't yet seen through this lie and vote solidly D, so the propaganda seems to be working.
"Thus she knowingly lied"
Hey, she's a lefty. It comes as natural as breathing.
Deerfield, IL has enacted their own "assault weapon" ban, with violations having a $250-$1000 a day fine, and with the chief of police given authorization to confiscate offending weapons.
“The Chief of Police or his or her designee shall have the power to confiscate any assault weapon of any person charged with a violation under this article. The Chief of Police shall cause to be destroyed each Assault Weapon or Large Capacity Magazine surrendered or confiscated pursuant to this Article.”
I lived there when young. It's an affluent Chicago suburb insulated from big city problems. A place where elitist authoritarians flourish.
BTW, how would they know what weapons you have in the privacy of your home? Can they be transported through their towns inside a vehicle? Of course, as I've pointed out many times, once your weapon has been confiscated, it's almost always cheaper to just replace it than pay for the court battle to get it back. It's the Chicago way.
"Put simply, we have no power to extend Second Amendment protections to weapons of war," Judge Robert King wrote for the court, adding that the Supreme Court's decision in District of Columbia v. Heller explicitly excluded such coverage.
Putting aside for a moment that we aren't talking about an actual "weapon of war", the second amendment was established for the purpose of making sure that we can properly arm a militia. How in the world would that not cover "weapons of war"? We need a solution for the damage done by these Judges who simply ignore the most simply stated parts of our laws.
Was the Supreme Court at 8 members at the time? I thought I remember that it went through because of the missing member and it was a tie or they let the previous court ruling go because they knew it would be a tie.
The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) and Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) have filed a lawsuit against the Village of Deerfield this morning, April 5, 2018. This legal action is a challenge to the Defendant’s Ordinance O-18-06, passed on April 2, 2018, which bans assault weapons (used specifically as that term is defined in O-18-06) within the Defendant’s municipal limits.
Under US V Miller, It was held that the arm in question ( a sawed off shotgun) was NOT of type in used by regular army and therefore not protected. I understand a crew served weapon, or device designed for simultaneously engaging multiple people ( grenades and rockets) may not be protected as a "common use" arm, but a rifle platform based on the same one the infantry has used for 50+ years should hold up as "protected" by both Heller and Miller.
