Maybe you should work? Yesterday I composed five. Today, maybe more. As I write haikus, I sit and think to myself, I hope I'm not caught. Sitting at my desk, Wasting the company's time, Pretending to work. My motorcycle, Waiting patiently outside. Soon I'll ride her home. To you, Spiderman, Thank you for starting this thread. Letting us create. To all BadWeBers, Hope your weekends all go well, Stay shiny side up. edited by newblaster on March 26, 2004 |

Twenty-four hours Is a long time to be up Without any sleep. But soon I'll be home. And then life will be normal - 6 to 6, woohoo... When I return home And finally get my bikes, I'll have tears of joy. Only thirty days Until I go to Beaumont And pick them up, yay! That's seven hundred And twenty hours or so. But then, who's counting? I think a haiku Is good poetry for us Who are not poets! Elvis always said "Thank you, thank you very much" And left the building. I am following The example of the King. Now I am stopping. |

It is true, there is A poet in all bikers. Just look at this thread. Haiku is a great Creative outlet for all. And it boosts post counts. Other message boards Would call me "post whore" for this. But, this is not them. Why I like the BadWeB Is that we're more accepting Of "post whores" like me. I will stop this now. Thank you all for reading this Haiku doggerel. |

No, Crusty - Haiku. It must be five, seven, five. Don't break the rules, man. Spiderman, you're off. That was Janis Joplin's song. Not the Singing Boobs. See, that's how it's done. Damnit, I'm tapping again, Counting syllables. Edited by Sean While trying to teach Crusty, I miscounted. Duh! edited by seanp on March 27, 2004 |

Dear Sportyeric You can never be too old It just takes longer Explain to French wife Haiku's, mumbling and typing She thinks I'm loopy The one called Spidey has a lot to answer for, Counting my fingers.

Stupid haiku thread. I spend too much time on here. Now I think like this. Always in my mind, I am counting syllables. Thinking in haiku. Roommate thinks I'm crazy. She is tired of my poems. Soon, she'll kick me out. Need to find a girl. One who is not "just a friend." She could distract me... Only time it stops Is when I have been drinking. Can't do that at work. I don't really mind. It gives me something to do. (Still, a girl would help...) |
