Nickel plated frame. Get down with your bad self! I see a sick looking bike being built here. Please keep us updated with pics as you can.

still working on my swing arm and rear brake setup. waiting for my rear caliper to come in.
I started to do the wiring and intake.

I have the Prospect hill breather with a fat K&N. sticker on the breather was faded.
I got a aluminum dash, so the Pegasus badge found a new home on my breather.

Yeah, I need to find a nice functional mirror. Defiantly ditching the lolly''s. Just need to find the right style for this ride.

Are you just using spacers for the rear? Or is it getting the XB rear swing arm too? Nice build!

The air cleaner setup is prospect hill performance. I bought it off eBay 3 years ago. Not to sure if they are still in business. It came with a small filter. I added the big fat K&N E-3341. I have yet to see this air cleaner setup on another bike. I am using spacers in the rear. Retaining the X1 swing arm and axle. Ditching the stock rear brake setup and fitting a custom bracket from a Ducati ST3 with a brembo dual piston hidden behind the swing arm...Thank you Purpony for this wonderful mod.

No Problem : )

I used to have the prospect hill performance setup on my bike. I liked the looks of it, but since it was centered and not moved forward, my knee hit it. I ended up re-drilling the mounting holes and rotated it at an angle to follow the frame... ended up selling it to a guy in canada. Nice intake though, may machine my own similar to it in the future with an offset to move it forward... going to write down the K&N part number you posted for the future!! thanks

Yeah this setup gives my knee a seasonal bruise... But I love the look of it!
Waiting on a force exhaust from a fellow BWB and some other small parts.. wont be updating till the new year!

I added a Napoleon bar end mirror to the left side of my M2 this summer and love it. Great vision and looks. Might be worth a look.

Looking great, do you have a link or details on the rear brake conversion info and specs for the rear wheel spacers?

That setup looks awesome! Mine is Cast not Billet. Right now I am awaiting on some components. Some new pictures of the bike will be up soon. Just got a new tank cover, like brand spanking new! I can see my reflection in it!
I also got a new force exhaust.
And my rear brembo is somewhere in "transit" between Florida and B.C.....

My rear shock is the stock Showa and Im saving my pennies and eating peanut butter and jelly for a new Works shock or trying to win this contest from Twin Motorcycles! Either way I need a new one. Im not waiting for the Showa to fail...

Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Just bought my bike in October with 8800 miles. The original shock failed before I got to 10K.

I really like that airhammer intake but my long leg would smack that right in the knee.

It might since you say "long leg". Sitting on the bike, it is OK for me. I haven't been able to ride with the snow, but may Wednesday or Thursday.

I'll post up something when I ride it. I am 5'10", 33 inseam.

Got a ride in today. My knee just touches the air cleaner when my nuts hit the tank. Was wearing winter textile pants with armor in the knee.

Okay... Back on topic here to the build... Just received my force exhaust. I have heard over the years you guys complaining about the mounts failing on this exhaust. I do not have any mounting hardware for this exhaust. Any one have this exhaust with input on mounting hardware for the back of the pipe and up front to the updated dog bone?
It's shiney, one piece and can't wait to set off car alarms : )
