if i would build my s1 like that, i would: - ad a black x1 swingarm (would match the tail better) - rizoma brake fluid reservoir - place the headlights and dash backwards - coat the center from the pm wheels black -keep the girl with the pink bikini

Dannybuell- i just ordered a set of clubmans off Ebay and i didnt like the riding angle so i bent them straight. Dutch x1- Is there any advantage other then cosmetically to switch swing arms? And powder coating the centers was going to be my next mod. lol Also what color for the reservoir? black? |

The aluminum swingarm is something over 200% stiffer than the tubular steel one, so with engine mods you'll see some real performance benefits, especially when leaned over and on the gas. One of these days I'll pull my swingarm and block and paint them black. A nice low gloss makes a nice finish when painted or powder coated over the stock texture finish. |

Another thought is a polished swingarm since you've still got that polished cam cover, then swap back to a polished primary cover and continue to use those nice black chain inspection covers and clutch inspection cover. |
