Hi everyone. I'm looking for honest opinions of the bike and don't worry i have thick skin.I know everyone has different tastes and i saved all the parts to put her back stock if you feel i killed another buell. lol The reason im asking because there is a bike show tomorrow and was thinking of entering but i could be just kidding myself and wasting my time and money. So what does everyone think? Thanks

I like it! I don't think you ruined it's "Buellness". Aesthetically, the tail section looks nice, but a bit big proportionally. It looses that "charging bull" feel that I like so much about the tubers.... (Message edited by reepicheep on May 04, 2012) |

If you like it - go for it (I happen to like it as well, but I do agree with Rep on the tail). Looks like a lot of hard work to get it where you wanted it. Enter it - good luck! Kilroy |

Thanks guys.I agree with you guys totally about the tail i originally wanted to put an s1 solo tail one it but couldn't find one at the time. im making a display board to detail all the mods and so i can list whats in my fully built motor they cant see. It started its life as a 98 S3. |

I dig it... but then again my x1 is kind of a mutant. The tail seems a little large too me but I am fan of anything unique and that it is. I like that flat black.. especially on your forks and triples. I want to that to mine.. looks sweet with the lower legs blacked out too. Its your bike. Make it your own... just dont cut anything that cant be replaced.. just in case! Ha! |

I have a few mount tabs I want to cut off too... I will probably cut em off my swing arm but leave my frame alone. |

Dunno, I googled it up. It was posted on this site. Yeah, I think so. Right side up forks, but an S1 tail section. I think that's an M2 swingarm also. |

I don't know, I think the tail looks alright. Kinda like a M2 tail with the sides flared out. I'd like to see a pic from the rear showing how wide it is. I say enter it, it can only give you experience for the next time. |

I like it. With the color scheme and larger tail it starts getting the waspish look or maybe we could call it Bumblebee. The shape reminds me a bit of Britten. Does the color of the star on the back match the color up front? Its your blood, sweat and tears. Be proud of it. |

Yeah the yellows are all the same. The star on the back is the same as on my helmet. |

Looks like the Airtech Manta4 tail section. Nice looking bike. I like it. You didn't chop a M2 into something it shouldn't be. It's your variation and you should be proud. Besides, opinions are like a$$holes. Everyone has one and most of them stink. If you dig it, who cares what anyone else thinks. |

ENTER! Especially since you have a 'thick skin'. Tail if fine, we don't know how big you are! Don't like the "Mutant" label, is my opinion. And paint the swingarm black, needs some balance there. |

I would lose the yellow around the headlights, but definitely keep the girls! Nice job. |

I dig the paint, a lot. I also agree with the tail looking a bit out of sync with the rest of the bike. Lots of nice details there, especially like the girl with the stringy thing on her hip. |

No i didn't win anything but it was still worth going i had a good time. There was a totally tricked out busa and a 65,000 dollar dresser that took most of the trophies. Well as im sure you guys know too well that a project is never completely finished. |
