So I tried Seal Mate. It worked. I'm a happy camper. |

I was skeptical, but for 10 bucks, why not? |

my only doubts about it is don't you have to take off the front fork anyways to re-fill the oil? |

Well, I didn't let my seals leak enough to require that. My biggest fear would be the caliper getting soaked with fork oil, and the pistons locking up. |

I just had the same issue...sealmate worked for me as well. A full rebuild with racetech goodies will be in the cards for next winter - rear shock is a penske, the front needs to be up to par for my 260# weight (was 350# when I ordered the shock..lol) |

Well, I bought one, and it didn't seem to do anything but break. ??? Oh well, the forks need some refreshment anyway, some stronger springs, to support my new-found corpulence. |

I've put about 250 or so miles on it since I used the sealmate, and it's not leaking. |

I used a plastic milk container cut down to the rough shape of the Sealmate. I pried up the dust seal and cleaned the oil seal. Worked fine, and it doesn't leak. |

Also will contribute to the sealmate's success. Mine started to be a pretty bad leak so i ended up giving it a shot and it worked. I did notice the sealmate is pretty fragile tho.. The milk jug does sound like a more solid option |
