I have been riding back and forth to work and on the highway at 70mph (+ or - 5mph) at steady pace on flat ground the bike seems to either drop ignition or starve for gas for less than a second I can feel it even though I don't loose any speed. The top speed with 180lb to 190 lb (me and lunch/gear) just under 90mph . anything over 80 I don't notice problem or if accelerating. mods 48/175 jets Vance and Hines exhaust and Buell wind shield any ideas? Also mpg about 50 |

You'll get 96 , re-adjust primary - too tight, that off and on could be ignition, or just a loose plug or wire. EZ |

I will check primary but with a strong clunk it goes into 1st and lightly on and off power I can hear "box o rocks" from primary and plug wire is tight, but that reminds me the positive cable connection is questionable (the threads in the battery it self are stripping) but that doesn't explain only 65 to 75 mph not above or below unless I'm missing something . Thanks by the way for the Ideas. CV |

BTW I wear 9 eee boots and have recently discovered that the heels protect my pegs on tight curves |

Yeah - check the plug as well - if your still running a stock airbox 48 may be a bit rich, go down to 46. EZ |

Just under 90 is a bit slow. My bone stock Blast gives me an even 95, with a Givi windscreen, me tucked down, and me being 175 lbs. |

well I readjusted the primary and I am rich as I smelled exhaust while adj primary I am running stock on the air box and using E3 plug noticed immediate difference but saw 93 with same set up before adj clutch and primary after a friend dropped her and screwed up the clutch lever I will re post after I run it . after i resolve this I was thinking of a module change to increase rpm suggestions? Last issue I discovered my 1000mi cyl base gasket is leaking and pushing out on left front could this have something to do with excessive crank case pressure causing power loss? I used sportster gaskets from the local harley shop when I replaced the top end (cyl, piston and head) |
