Is that a sharpie in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? Anyway. I found one dealer within 200 miles that has an XT. They said ten grand, I said nevermind. They asked what I was hoping for, I said 7 grand. They came back with 8 grand plus tax and title. It's a red 09. It's tempting. |

Also, mine had bags, my brother had to pay an extra 1K for his bags, so the price on his was really 8K. |

The prices on the XB's seem higher than on the 1125's. Any idea why? |

The Uly's aren't getting as much of a factory rebate. I have heard only $3k. |

Mac inger, Bought mine from Electric City HD/Buell in Scranton, PA. Last 1125, they don't have much of a market up there. Just wanted it gone and he accepted my offer. Good sales guy, actually. 1125R prices were already 'deeply discounted' prior to Thursday's events, so I'm not surprised. As discussed in other threads, a bad press launch, a huge backlog of old model year bikes, and (maybe??) the AMA controversy, it is no surprise they are going so cheaply. I've been in numerous dealers over the past few months that had more 1125's than XB's on the floor. Also, the XB has been in production since late 2002 and has had a stronger following. |

My dealer had great deals on the 1125, I've seen them marked down to $4,999. The XB's were 3K off, I was able to 4K off after considerable wining. |

DanXb, Wow, that's harsh. That bad huh? I've never even been in there but thanks for the heads-up. I suppose I'll still check it out, but it's good to know. |

I'M TOLD: XB9's, XB-X's and XB-XT's have a $3000 factory rebate. XB12's have a $4000 rebate. 1125's have a $5000 rebate. And I sure hope now is a good time to buy...... |

Wait $6,000 for an 1125CR? WTF!!! I spent $10,700 OTD, tax's, fee's, everything included in that... That was earlier this year for a new 09 XB12Ss. But man that is a deal! |

Seems different here in Canada. Got this email message from a buddy looking for a deal on an XB... "So I called Deeley today and they said there will be no firesale in Canada. In fact, they said that several dealers have raised their prices above MSRP as the Buells are rare now! I told them I would shop in the US instead." |

Well Deeley HAs Control of what bikes get sold to the Dealers here in Canada...Makes no sense THEY stand their ground on Buell prices, with no Discounts etc.. Don`t think one can buy in the US.. has to be an older model or atleast a Demo unit??? ( Not Brand New )anyone know on this? |

Well I just did yesterday!! I have been looking at a Uly XT for two years now...Almost bought one just last month. When the news came out on Monday, I decided that there is NO reason not to get the Ulysses that I have always wanted! So I called Classic Motors in Traverse City...Yup, the RED 2009 Uly XT was still there! I told the dealer to give me their best price...$10553 OTD they said...I said $10000, they said $10500...I caved because I really wanted that bike! I did get a belt, rear wheel bearing and the comfort kit thrown in the $10500 though! I'm Happy..Now just have to get a break in our Northern Michigan weather because I want to ride it home! |

I just bought a blue 09 XB-XT for 6k plus tax and tags. I'm really excited about this bike.. I thought about the 1125CR but I already have more than one sport bike... so I ventured out to a local dealer (Phila area) who had several of the XB models... and test drove a few. I also like the XB-9 quite a bit... but as soon as I got on the Ulysses... WOW... significantly more power... much roomier... only negatives I noted on my test ride was the right side heat on my leg and the bike was not as well settled through turns as the XB-9... though no one even checked tire pressures and etc. But I am psyched... I had wanted a Buell for a long, long time. This model (sport touring with panniers) is something I don't have in my mc stables. the 1125cr's and R's both were going for $4999 in my area.. the XB-9 was $5100... they had a 08 Ulysess without the bags for 5K as well. At these prices I had to buy. MSL |

MSL, you got a better deal than I did, now I'm pissed. The XT is a great bike. I also have a BMW R1200GS and I actually like riding the XT better This is perhaps the best bike ever built. |

I just picked up an 09 X for about $7500 OTD on Monday (High Country Harley, Frederick, CO). The tag on the handlebar said $12,700. They had XT's for $8300, but I wanted the ground clearance... The 1125CR's at the shop were $5720 (plus tax), and they had PLENTY of power, but I didn't care for the riding position. Besides, I already have a Speed Triple, so I really don't need another sportbike... Anyway, there's my $.02. Enjoy your rides! |

I emailed a local dealer in Vancouver BC about an 09 Uly XT listed on their website, and got this reply.... "Good morning Mike, thank you for your interest in the Ulysses. Unfortunately I do not have this bike in stock and with the recent developments from Harley Davidson regarding Buell, we will no longer be receiving any more Buells. Sorry, Have a great day, Kyla Barnes Harley-Davidson" |

Blackdog... I think you got the best overall deal... I didn't get the beautiful riding partner you have... I'll be riding solo on a 2 up bike :+( I haven't picked up my bike yet so I went ahead and ordered the comfort kit and ECM upgrade which the dealer said he can have installed before I take delivery. I'm really psyched... I'm expecting the Ulysses to become my favorite bike. And next comes the hard part of deciding which bikes gotta go. I'm outta room to keep all of them. The ULY is number five. Blastronomer, Yea I really didn't care for them. I did call just out of curiosity and they had a 08 at 7k plus fees. I just bought a 09 1125R blue/white out in Chicago for a lot less. None of the Michigan dealers were willing to deal so I went out side the state. I picked it up last Wednesday and already have 100 miles on it. Awesome machine. If you can get yours now before there all gone! |

Hotdog... Valley Forge HD has a yellow 08 Uly (not the XT model) for 5K. In my area (SE PA) there are several shops with various Buell products still left. Prices vary from too high to really, really good. I've seen CR's as low as $4999 OTD (plus tag and tax). Some dealers have a lot of inventory but their prices are so high... it's probably why they still have a lot of inventory. You know what they say to butchers... "sell it or smell it" anyway... Schaeffers HD has a ton of inventory (XB12SS, 1125R, 1125CR, XT ULY, XB12R). Reading HD has two CR's. Crossroads has an XT. I'm new here so I don't know if it's ok or not to put phone numbers and etc... but you can get all the contact info off of Buell's website by doing a dealer search for say zip code 19124. If your in a different area use the dealer search and then get on the horn and call and see who has what and see who is going to be flexible on price. Tell them upfront that you know about the 5K off from Buell and that you've seen on the forums (state the best price you've seen)... all they can do is say no. MSL |

Well, I pulled the trigger. High Country HD is out of new Buells, but has located a red 2009 XB12Ss for $7200 + tax so I put down a deposit. |
