directly fresh from xborg (ahhhh german people do it really good), a very good mix between 3 generations of buell. Nice work! (I thin this was an R in origin...)

that tail looks good on there, really good. IMHO thats what the stock CR needs to be complete. |

WWWwwow! That's, that's just. Just, perfect. Very well done. Where do I hang my saddlebags? Seriously, I have always liked the Lightning tail vs the Firebolt/1125 tail. Good work! |

Andros, i'm always checking a lot of european boards for news and ideas. In particular, the xborg is the german buell board. I studied german, so I don't have too much problems.. but I haven't the time to read or translate the page.. so for what is worth, here's the 3d: http://www.xborgforum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=182 17 this might be usefull too: http://www.buellforum.eu/ |

No tail light, just a GIANT license plate. Looks like that thing could hold a rack of ribs! Tail looks perfect. I would prefer the stock CR headlight. I would also be interested to see all the electrics under the seat. (Message edited by xnoahx on August 08, 2009) |

i knew the tail would look fine. and it wouldnt be as difficult as people are thinking i would bet. but the headlight setup just does not work for me. but its not mine so as long as the builder likes it more power to him. |

It's an 08 R - Diamond Blue frame. edit> An early one at that, it has a RevA clutch cover. I think it must have a taillight, it does have a set of micro-signals... Kellerman's? CR should have come out with THAT tail. awesome mod. Z (Message edited by zac4mac on August 08, 2009) |

Those license plates are very unfortunate. Someone in the German gov needs a good talking to. |

Finally! Looks just as good as I thought it would. CR or XB headlight would do it better IMO though. Looks great though. |

any one speak german would love to get a shot side on, just wanna see how far it comes over the rear wheel, its the one thing holding me back from doing this. i know exactly what needs to be done, just gotta order the side rails, either the SS or the S. depending on length (Message edited by lunatic on August 08, 2009) |

I like the Cyclone headlight and eyebrow. Of course, I owned an M2 Cyclone once, so maybe I'm prejudiced. |

that is sweet. I think the m2 round headlight really gives it that cafe look. I see it has a Remus pipe. Does anyone have one or know about them? Sound good? To loud? To soft? Just right? Need any AFV changes? Bolt on and go? |

Andros, Lunatic, I'm with you in this adventure. I'm trying to contact Maik, XBCRM2 owner. He said it's that it's a preliminary step, he had to finalize this modification. As soon I've further information I'll inform the forum. Salut |

Ziomeme and lunatic. Lets do this. I think its a matter of fabbing a set of brackets for each side and possibly shaving a bit off the right side rail to make room for the shock. I would give my right arm for close ups of those brackets and their mounting. |

Looks to be an S tail. To me, an SS tail might look better. |

yeah as i have said in my previous posts, the bottom holes will line up, might need to drill out right side top hole on the rail a little as it is only a few mil out. fab a bracket for the left side. reverse the bolt holding the shock. shave the right side so shock will not hit. if anyone can get a side shot from the owner that be great |

Probably at the end of frame modification it's necessary to modify the seat to adapt its adding something in front and down side and rebuild the cover, it will be a long work Salut |
