so as i was sitting in my shed last night hacking up a v rod passenger seat to try and make a taller rear seat on my x1...........i though....who else builds, fabs, creates one off parts other than me. i have only read a few threads with minor stuff. and the xb/s1 jobbie that was sick! im not talking minor stuff, i mean like tial sections, exhaust, headers, pulley covers...etc... though i have a tuber, im still curious what all you buellers are doing .....i would love to fabricate a single undertail exhaust for my x1, but what to do with the oil tank......... |

i was thinking of taking the undertail off and tucking a short exhaust can almost horix=zontal to the ground with the tip as close to the subfram as possible, then routing the pipes in the area where my oil tank is............i have no idea about an xb....im sure you could hang one off the side in the back like a new style gixxer, just run a header pipe along the bottom |

yes something like that.....where did they put the oil tank? i looking into a single duc style exhaust can though....i wanna keep it slim, anybody notice they jacked the sub frame up on that bike, the bottom mounting hole is spaced back from where it normally bolts.... |
