Yes, but will you be able to recognize our country after the change..... I'll step out on a limb and predict... 'yes'. Any change is better than what we are all suffering with now. The current administration tricked itself into using a hammer to kill flies when all you needed was a fly-swatter. Now WE... have to pay for it. I hope Bush enjoys his retirement. |

Ron Paul us still running?! I thought McCain won out... but I'm not clear on how it all works. If Paul stays in, I'll be voting for him. I like Obama fine as an individual (Hillary makes my skin crawl!), and I think he'd make a great President, but we disagree on too many points, so no vote for him! ~SM |

Clinton tried the swatter on those pretty tough flies. didn't work very well. President Bushes approach on the other hand appears to have gotten their spiritual leaders attention. Bush may have been right all along, which will make him even more hated. www.metimes.com/International/2008/05/25/cracks_in _al-qaidas_spiritual_leadership/2149/ - (Message edited by MadDuck on May 30, 2008) |

Madduck, The record shows that Clinton actually let Osama get away. Tough call on this election. It's for sure our country has reached a crossroad. I don't care about color or gender or party but I do want someone loyal to our country. Obama is loyal to his radical social ideals. His voting record and the crowd he runs with can't hide the facts. We as a country have lost our sight of the goal. Too many people sucking the system dry with all the entitlement programs. Someone needs to turn the tap off and use our tax dollars for infrastructure like it was intended. Let's hope McCain can win and keep things on an even keel for four years. JB2 |

You know if McCain choose Condoleezza Rice then would that kinda trump both the gender and race card? |

JB2, Obama has the eggheads and blacks, the Mondale vote that he rode to take only MN and DC. Hillary is in the race because she still doesn't believe the democratic leadership is so insane as to allow this travesty to happen again. McCains major failing is that he is 8 years out on a melanoma diagnosis. 4 years more will wear out his availble luck. Hard to believe our choices will be a radical black and a man dying soon from cancer. |

Have you read Obamas campaign site info, I think that he is not going to function well in washington, his site says he is going do all of "these things" relating to energy and turning around the economy it read like he was spending the same 10 Billion over and over, Like most of you I am concerned about 2 things 1. under no circumstances do I want Helliry clinton in the white house as any thing other than a visitor. ( I would not elect her for dog catcher ) 2. McCain is soo old I hope that a good VP is chosen, I would vote for Rice or Powell if either ran with a solid plan. Obamas plan looks to have a lot of entitlments in it, the health care in particular scares me. |

I'm not going to waste my vote this time around. I simply refuse to vote for the best cancdate(IMHO)for the job. In stead I shall cast mine to the one who will take this country down the fastest. The sooner we get to the bottom, the sooner we shall rise back up. Rebel, a new dawn aproches. Thats so not funny, but true. |

Go read Animal Farm, and you will find yourself in a very self loathing about the whole election process going on this cycle. Now as for snow. I have done it, I went looking for it, I rode the hell out of it. I can name at least two other local Buellers that joined in the winter wonderland riding. Pics and scrapes to prove it. |

I just finished watching the HBO movie "recount" with Kevin Spacey. It was a good movie, but damn it left me depressed about our election system. My major concern is the looming deficits (budget/trade). If the next candidate doesn't honestly address them we are royally screwed. I haven't seen much on that front from McCain. Obama has at least mentioned it, but I don't know if he is serious about doing anything. |

"Clinton tried the swatter on those pretty tough flies." If you are referring to Somalia, that's actually not true. The mission was to capture Aidid, not to kill him. Had the mission simply been a surgical strike to kill him with little collateral damage, there would have had to be only a few people on the ground. Had the mission been to kill him at all costs, no one would have had to be near him. The fact that Clinton didn't choose the latter two justifies the very reasons I never voted for him. "didn't work very well." That part is true. |

I missed "Recount". Did they mention that after the election the newspapers did indeed do a total recount? ( the Gore team/Fl court wanted a recount only in counties where they thought they could pick up votes. ( don't blame him, I would too ) The U.S. Court asked for a reason. No response from the Fl Court. Overruled. ) Oh, yeah, after multiple independent recounts....Bush won. VOTE CTHULU! Why settle for the lesser Evil? |

My major concern is the looming deficits (budget/trade). If the next candidate doesn't honestly address them we are royally screwed. Took my wife to the Macy's today.I scoured the store from end to end without finding a single product made here in the USA.TRUE. Everything was labeled either made in China.Pakistan,Indonesia,Bangladesh,Taiwan, Sri Lanka,Korea,Vietnam,Cambodia,THailand. These Countries share nothing in common with ours.THey're merely a source of cheap labor so America's big corporations can continue to grow but at the expense of ME and most of YOU.Everything comes at a price.Nothing is free. My wife ended up with some expensive Chinese crap Calvin Klein jeans etc. We've been sold out by Washington D.C. and it's lobbyists. I really DID scour the store, they must have thought i was a KOOK |

Handcuffed from the very beginning -- before 03OCT93. Some very good men died just so political dynasties wouldn't be harmed. Most of the Habr Gidr couldn't been destroyed with no Americans in harms way. I have every confidence that someone will burn in the deepest pits of hell for their actions surrounding the needless loss of American life. |
