Anyone try them? Saw them advertised in the back of Cycle world. Checked their site and they are super cheap. I wonder if the rear is wide enough for the XB swingarm.

i have them. cheap, but work just fine. their not really sized for the buell, but after a few minutes you figure it out. worth the money!

i picked em up after having my bike fall off of my table-lift and break hammers foot while changin tires for last years dragon ride. no broken feet since.

LOL, at least I saved the bike. As for the stands... they do the job and a good price for them also.

Thanks for the response. So the rear was able to swallow that big fat XB swingarm!

Anybody try these T-Rex racing ones on ebay? They look like PitBull knock-offs for about half the price.

I bought the T Rex on eBay because of the price.

They work, they certainly are not as nice as the Pit Bulls, but they do the job. I just got the front, because I had different cheapie for the rear.

It is very heavy, but it works well enough, and I use it all the time. Makes cleaning the wheels a snap, as well as getting the bike in the air for the usual maintenance and repair.

I have the ones in the pic above. Just search for rear stand and you'll find them. The triple tree lift is real nice for front end work, so you can remove the forks and what not.

Well,

I just went ahead and ordered a set of The T-Rex (gold ones pictured above). Here's the link, but I don't know how long ebay keeps it active:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem =&item=110099526731&rd=1&rd=1

I'll post a pic of my XB on them when they arrive.

Will the T-Rex spool attachment reach far enough out to use with the Dark Horse Moto spools?

Swordsman, at the widest they can go about an inch wider than the outside of the swingarm underneath the axle. You shouldn't have any problems. I've been using the swingarm rests and the bike is rock solid, even when wrenching.

Yes the T-Rex spool attachment will reach the Dark Horse spools. There is a little interference with the reversible rubber swingarm mount and the rear wheel pulley but nothing the be concerned about.

Here are the t-rex stands:

They arrived quickly and in good shape. The rear was plenty wide enough for the XB swingarm. About $150 all told.

got mine today also....got the rear up quick and easy..
having a hard time(little nervouse) with lifting the front end using the triple tree.. i tried 3 or 4 times pushing the stand down, but was afraid the rear would wal forward... it seems to take alot of effort to get the front up that way..

tried the front stand using the forks and it was quick and easy like the rear..

anyone with suggestions on how to get the front one up using the triple tree...

another helping hand would make me feel at ease but all my buddys are busy right now..
