I am new to the Blast planet and my P3 is blowing oil all over the place, my legs, around the air cleaner area, down tube etc. It has 4,700 miles on it. I ordered a new PCV and grommet? Read that might help. Otherwise, I plugged the hole where the tube used to go into my air box and plugged an air breather into the "T". I also put a catch bottle at the bottom of that tube by the swingarm. Go easy on me if I misread these and botched it up. Any advice would be great advice to me.

When I developed my latest oil leak I thought I would try a mod to the breather tube that comes out of the PCV valve. I unplugged it from the air box, plugged the hole in the box, and then plugged a breather filter to the "T". I then unplugged the final end of the tube and put a little catch container on it. It still leaks oil like crazy but it seemed to run well? Did I get this mod wrong? I have ordered a new grommet and PCV valve hoping that may be the problem. Does anyone use some sealant or goop on grommet when they replace it? Any advice would be most helpful. I want to ride this thing!

I almost forgot. Where can I find a pipe to put on this once i figure out my oil leak problem? Don't want to break the bank but seems like a pipe would help open this thing up a bit.

As long as the PCV hose is vented, you should be okay, but I really cant be sure from what you've written. All you need is a hose going from the PCV to the ground (or into a vented catch can). It can be left open or with a filter on the end, but you may still blow a lot of oil onto the back of your motorcycle.

If its an early 2002, then its probably the rocker box gasket.
Be sure you havent overfilled the oil. Check when hot, between the lines is okay (and between the lines IS NOT a quart. Add only a little at a time).
...and Welcome!

V & H exhausts can be found the cheapest and an online search should find the lowest price.

You can use sealer on the grommet, but can be risky. If its not dry, you can get sealer in the oilways which can be very bad. Usually the grommet leaks only enough to get your valve cover a little dirty, nothing more. Changing it might help if it is indeed very bad. Try that, if not then its very likely the rocker gasket.

Check your pushrod cover seals.
I thought I had a PCV grommet leak. (Spewing oil on my leg-Down the front of the tube cover etc') It turned out to be the upper seal on the pushrod cover.
Good luck!

I would concur on the rocker box. Get it good and clean, and take it for a quick 10 minute ride. You should start seeing some leakage around the cover.

my pushrod cover leaked too. i just ended up replacing it with collapsing tubes but a new seal would've likely been sufficient.
