Er... I'm all for the idea, but after breezing through the site, I still don't get how it would actually achieve that goal. But I'm fairly dense....

Missouri has term limits. So lobbyists and lawyers write the legislation as state representatives and state senators do not "mature" in office and know their own jobs inside and out. The best term limit is the ballot box, IMHO.

I don't know either. I just like the idea, and hope to see it happen. Can you imagine the frustration the lobbying industry will experience when they have to suck up to/bribe a new politician every two years? Maybe they'll realize it isn't worth their time.

i'm all for it. mentioned about no incumbents a few months ago. but i went ahead and signed up. always liked being the underdog.
