Try giving the Little Tokyo Motorcycle Shop a call at 1-562-493-1569. They are in San Fransisco, so make sure you account for any time difference. I'd try to give them a call at say 10:30AM their time - they should be open then, I would think.
The P/N you're interested in is AE-51001, Single Seat for '99-'02 Buell M2 Cyclone, produced by Casuno. Since they are apparently a partner shop, they should know what you're talking about.

Excellent - glad I could help you out. The price for my involvement is pictures when it's done and a cold beer if we ever see each other. Deal?
I'm coming home this Saturday! I get to see my Baby and my babies again! The Blast is getting juiced up this weekend - intake, exhaust, and a rejet - maybe cams to follow.
The Firebolt needs a bunch of rouotine maintenance done and I'm hoping to start the cosmetic upgrades while I'm home as well.

That sounds like a very good deal ! I'm supposed to receive the package within a week or so. Then painting (maybe another one or two weeks), and then there should be some pictures available for you... For the beer, I go from time to time to San Francisco for professional reasons, usually in December. Maybe that could make a target ! |

Bryan, it has been a week slower than expected but finally the Casuno tail section and its narrow seat are installed on my M2. I enclose here a few pictures which should give you a taste of how it looks like.
I must say that I love it !!! It gives a much narrower and shorter look to the Cyclone compared with the beefy stock tail section. The finish is absolutely great and the mounting doesn't present any difficulty, apart from the fact that I had to slightly shorten the lower mudguard to fit with the American Sport Bike oil tank. The seat is much lower than stock as well (maybe a good 3 inches) and I thus seat more inserted into the bike, giving a better handling indeed.
OK enough said, here we go with the pictures on different angles :

Bryan, again deep thanks for your great help. My beloved M2 would not look so good now if you didn't provide me with all the crucial info. I certainly owe you a good beer if we ever meet on one side of the pond.
Regarding the rear fender, it is from Roadracing in Italy. They provide nice aluminium and carbon fiber parts for Buell. You can check it out at www.roadracing.it |
