Don't know all the details yet, he called me at about 11:30 last night from the ICU in Florence , SC. High sided and flew off the bike. During flight he contacted a metal pole which knocked him out, collar bone broken in 3 different places, 9 broken ribs, if he was out, I assume at least a mild concussion. That is all I know at this point. If anyone lives in hte area, I'm sure he could use a good word. I'll be leaving later to go there. | ||

Jim- Dang! Is he at McCleod's? I have the day off tomorrow and was planning to take care of some business at my Mom's house which is about 50 miles south of Florence. I may drive up and check on him. Of course, if he's still in the ICU they may only let family in to see him. | ||

Just spoke to Trish, he also has a bruised lung, that was the doctors biggest worry, but it looks to be ok at this point. If all goes well, he should be moved from ICU to a regular room this evening. Trish says no visitors at this point. She will call me and let me know when it is ok to come. Stay tuned as I get it I will post it. | ||

I posted a link to this thread in the SC Bueller's forum. Not sure if we still have anyone in the Florence area. Last time I saw him, Mike mentioned he had been doing a lot of off-road riding in the Bennettsville, SC area recently. My guess is that's where he crashed since he wound up in the Florence hospital. | ||

I just got a call from U4euh. Mike is still in ICU. They are in a holding pattern, waiting to move him to a regular room. Trish is with Mike and will be returning home tomorrow to take care of some family business. If all goes as planned, Jim will ride back to SC with Trish to pick up Mike's car and bike and drive it back home to NC. Their friend Rachel is home with the Warren kids, so all is taken care of there. Please continue to keep the Warren family in your thoughts and prayers. If Jim calls with another update, I'll be sure to post it. | ||
