It's for the dual 4 pots pictured loose apparently, not the dual 6 pots on the bike.

I saw this. There is a dealer that sells the entire kit new with or without the calipers ($950 and $1400 respectively). I'm going with dual Galfer wave discs with brembo calipers.

Wow. They've got supertrapps for tubers (same as Buell pro series). I thought those were all gone.

The Supertrapps have always been available for the 99-02 tuber. The retail price keeps going up ever year, now it $607.95.

Is there something wrong or inadequate with the single disk system on the tubers?

Its like asking is there something "inadequate" about the S1 that would require someone to want a S1W. There are better performing brakes out there, will you stop using the single stock setup? Yes, but not as fast as using an upgraded XB front brake set up. Since I'm not converting to a XB front wheel (because I love the bling of the PM wheel), I choose to upgrade to a dual disc. It all comes down to preference and ride style.

Would you put a duel set up on an XB if it were available?

So is the set up worth the price he is asking?

I must admit i use the rear brake more as it works great on my X1 soon i'm going to fit on tyres on my PM rims, on them in have a front braking rotor, also i'm going to change the front brake line and put on New ebc brake pads.

The Roads i ride are many twisties and a bit of highway.

Miguel, I looked at your profile pick, is that a Galfer rotor on the front of the X1? How do you like it?

I just like going fast, i think the extra disc would add too much weight, i would spend the money on lighter wheels you would feel the difference a lot more!

My profile shows what i has, thatX1 had a major failure, so i didnt get to ride it much, i sold the Ulysses after a major accident, so now i have just an X1 that i'm slowly changing parts, next step in to change the rims, fit on the PM, the rotor is a Braking, and from what i remember was very good, but need to change the rims to be Able to compare to the stock rotor.

not to change the subject, but since it was mentioned above, we have one last supertrapp for the tubers in stock and it's only $525. But we won't have any more of them, so if someone needs one, snatch it up fast. See http://americansportbike.com/newdir/Item/5420

Beringer still list a twin front disc set up. Though its made to order and you WILL have to dig deep into those pockets if you want one......Dave http://www.ukbeg.com/forum/download/file.php?id=86 38&mode=view
