I am heading to the downriver cruise on saturday. Anyone else planning on attending? I will be on the blast probably using up whats left of my rear tire. I have a couple spots to park at that guys I work with will be. One will be full of cars, the other will be all bikes mostly old harleys. On July 29 the telegraph cruise is happening. Biker bobs is having another party that day. They usually have a burnout contest I am thinking about entering. Spidey you still want to try that one.

July 29. Its a saturday. I am having my dad bring my good rim and tools and jack stands up there after the burnout so I can change rims. I am gonna throw the old tire on my old rim and use that for the burnout. If you are gonna come and want I can put your parts in liked we talked about. I am still waiting on the stealership to contact me on whether or not they are having a burnout contest. I went up there last night and the paper by the front door said to check the web site, however the website said the exact same info the brochure said. I asked at the front desk and they couldnt tell me anything about events that day. I left my name and number for someone to call me back.

Thanks, everyone. I didn't actually meet Spidey...he just directed me here from another board. Sounds like I must be missing out on something.

I just took the bike out for it's first great ride - M36 from Mason to Brighton on Sunday. Couldn't have been more perfect!

I'm still around and kicking. Japan and a few other big trips for work along with the house have kept me quite busy (you wouldn't even recognize most of it now, Tony).

The Blast is still puttering around when I need it, and the Firebolt's all blacked out...I need to get a set of the black levers and some black wheels and he'll be all done. I was going to ride up to Oakville, Ontario (that's where the vehicle I work on will be assembled) this past week and discovered my stator's toast, so I need to get on the phone with Daves and order a new one along with some other bits and bobs before I can ride the 'bolt again.

...thank God I discovered it in the garage and not on the Ambassador Bridge!

I'll have to keep my eyes peeled and meet up with you guys again sometime soon. I miss having people to scoot around with, and I'd love to see what MJ looks like nowadays. =D

I havent been riding much lately due to the new arrival, but I am getting more time each week to go riding. Let me know if you want to go out for a ride sometime.

Ecorse and Mortenview is real close to where my parents live - they're on Huron street back in that area. I lived there for about twelve years. ; )

I'm almost always up to just go tooling around somewhere...since Spidey moved out and I ended up traveling so much, I've unfortunately gotten out of the habit - and very much want to get back into it.

Unfortunately this weekend will likely be taken up tearing my primary apart and rotating the engine to replace that pesky exhaust gasket. If you ever want to stop by, though, my garage is always open. At the moment there's 4 bikes in there, although only three are rideable. My uncle's '72 Sporty project bike that he had me wire up for him should run, but I don't think that engine's been turned over in nearly twenty years and it has no fluids in it at the moment. LOL
