Buell made amazing motorcycles, and they will be missed. Now I have another reason to hate H-D.

guess I wont be buying a new buell once my house sells. I would be in for an orchard ride, but I dought I will be able to. I work on saturdays until the end of the month. keep me updated though incase work gets canceled at the last minute.

If anybody is interested I'm selling my 08 1125R for $6000. I can't afford to keep my bike and my dad's and I'm not ready to let go of my dad's. My bike was purchased 2/4/2009 so there's plenty of time left on the warranty. Call me for more info at 810-333-2504.

I just hooked up my yahoo messenger today with a badwebber who is deployed in Kuwait... and walla... an hour of insanity of messages, calls and such and he is the new owner of a 2009 1125R through Hal's HDB...

I haven't been this stoked in a while!!!

He was going to buy in ten days on leave in the States and hadn't heard that Buell is done... and I urged him to buy today... with help from Bud Curtis... he has a new lobster...Congrats are in order...

Plus one for Brad/ Hardcorps and Bud C.!!!

Wish I could make it the 26, but no funds or time off from work are available for a ride of that magnitude. Please pass along my condolences. Hopefully Buell will rise from the ashes once again soon.

Spidey the resume has been sent. Not sure if you will hear anything or not, the job I told you about is falling apart, but there are a few other in the works.

That was at GingerMan raceway. Needless to say, it was a great experience and I learned a lot about throttle control. The first day we were there it poured rain, but we still were out on the track...pretty intimidating. Can't wait to get back to it!

I'm trying to buy more LOL

I am trying to get the poor neglected RR1200 from American but they thing 4k is not enough for a bike that was never properly prepped for storage and sat for over a decade, with no oil, dead battery and fuel in a fiberglass tank.

SO

If any of you got to American take a second and find the sales manager and offer 1500 for the bike LOL Cause I really was to restore this beauty and ride the crap outta it!

Scott and I ran into each other up on 136, I was about to continue going west when I saw him turning so I caught up and we rode through St. Clair. I didn't plan on riding today, but we only have few nice days left. Great day for a ride, and always nice to see another Buell (now that they're collectors items)

I picked mine up from Detroit H-D. They've had it about a month waiting for the parts to fix the clutch weep.

All these people are out buying 1125's and the 1125 board looks like a trouble-ticket system with all the issues people are having. I'm sad to see Buell go, but sheesh.

When I left St. Clair yesterday my fuel light came on....flew down 94 to the 16 Mile exit...thought that I had a couple more mile in her....about .5 mile to a gas station the bike started to sputter....had to ride the shoulder because I was slowing down so much. Went through a red light and an illegal left and it stalled. I shuck the bike back and forth to get the last drops out and she actually started up one last time to make it 100 more feet to the station. 167 miles of that tank.

I know you are selling your buell, but I have in my possession a set of black side fairings for the 1125. They are brand new in the box, I would let them go for $400. If you get a buyer let them know I have side fairings if they are interested. I will not be using them on my 1125.

I bought the bike in October from overseas. Hals made me a deal I could not refuse. I picked up the bike when I was home on leave. I only put like 25miles on it, but it will be broken in soon enough and have a drummer.
