Hey everybody,

So I moved to Los Angeles from Kansas and don't have time and space for my Blast anymore. Details:

- 2000 model (Red)
- around 8000 miles (i have to double check the exact #)
- Timely service for the last 2 years, runs great!
- New rear tire
- V&H exhaust (repaired / repacked since my last post)
- Crossroad clipons
- Standard seat

The bike runs great and is totally reliable. Just wanted to let you all know about it. I'm in the L.A area (variously staying on couches in West LA, Hollywood, Burbank, Northridge hahaha).

This was my one and only forum from before I ever even purchased my Blast (my 1st bike). I loved learning how to ride and have my brain overloaded with so much info from this place. I'm going to post on CL too, but I really hope someone from here is looking for what I got.

Unsolicited advice to follow (sorry):
Did you get another bike?
After driving a car around LA, you'll really miss the bike. When you're stuck on the 405 parking lot, try not to cry as the motorcyclists split the lane and make it to work on time.
There are also some very good roads near you now too.
You'll miss the bike.
Did I mention you can split lanes?
Highways, side streets, even the car pool lane (if there's room-dont cross the line, THAT's a big fine!).

Unless it really just comes down to the money-there's some very good (Buell) people in the LA area who might store your Blast until you have a permanent home.
My Garage is full : ( or : )

Did I mention splitting lanes is legal in CA? (AKA: "Lane Sharing") But traffic can be really crazy. LA is second only to riding in NYC.

Dude, your gonna realize that having a bike in So. Cal. is a necessity. And one that gets great gas mileage to boot.

You guys are gonna make me so sad.. Yes the bike is great for splitting lanes and getting through traffic, but it does come down to money. I'm one of those couch-surfing college graduates working freelance and with an extra $2k I can get an apt just like a real grown-up.

And when I make the big bucks I'l get an 1125CR.

Honestly it will all go down this week. If I get a job or turn down this apt I won't sell the bike..

Thanks

I have $1500, and I live in Ridgecrest (approx 150 miles away, north) and I was wondering if you would go down on the price?

I am looking for a nice first bike, and I think a Buell is my kind of ride :P

Thanks
